Witness is a weekly variety show that explores the ideas, trends and personalities which shape our world. Broadcast from 9-10pm Central African Time each Friday evening, Witness is a stimulating hour-long personality profile show that connects listeners with prominent Muslim social, cultural, economic and political leaders, achievers and public personalities thereby allowing an interaction with them on a uniquely personal level. The relaxing exchange focuses on the individual’s unique history, defining moments and the people and events that moulded their destiny. It also attempts to showcase Muslim trailblazers and their achievements. The show is repeated every Sunday from 12pm-1pm and is also available on the World Wide Web as a podcast

Born in 1987, Ebrahim hails from the bustling township of Actonville on Gauteng’s East Rand. Being the first born, he attests to having had the privilege of being pampered and treated to numerous educational and stimulating experiences and outings by his parents while he was still young. The love of reading they imbibed within him from a young age, has also had a lasting impression on his personality. Though having toted with various career options over the years (including at one stage, becoming a farmer!), the craving for adventure as he saw embodied in the world of journalism, was a calling that he couldn’t shun.
