Over the past years the Ramadhaan Challenge has always stood out as being a highlight on Cii for serving the dual purpose of “edutainment” for the listeners of CII.
This year however, the competition takes an exciting twist as each listener has equal and ample opportunities to enter, get selected and participate.
We’ve teamed up with various enthusiastic sponsors to make the new format as generous and workable as possible and at the end we aim to gift our loyal listeners for being part of the nightly challenge.
How it’ll work this year is that in order to reward a listener a night, there will be nightly prize give aways and not just one grand prize for the last man standing as in previous competitions. This turns the competition up a notch as there are more give aways than before, anyone can be a winner, participation numbers grow and the challenge becomes more intense and more exciting!
We will continue to use our original trademark Ramadhaan Challenge formula: Listeners will firstly have to go through a registration process to take part before qualifying. Daily during Sabahul Khair, Lifestyle & Global Outlook we will feature the competition segments where knock outs of listeners will take place live on-air.
The listener will be expected to answer questions pertaining to specified categories based on
“Islamic” (on Sabahul Khair @08:15am),
“General knowledge” (on Lifestyle @12:45pm)
“Current affairs”(on Global Outlook @15:45pm).
We will then be left with one participant from each segment who will consequently battle the other daily finalists during the last segment of the competition i.e. after 18:00PM for the exciting prize of the day.
In order to successfully register, sms the code word “challenge” and your name, age and location to 32414″ or enter your details online by visiting www.ciibroadcasting.com and click the Ramadhaan link.
We look forward to your valued support, enthusiastic participation and well acknowledged efforts. Good luck to all our listeners who will be entering, we wish you all the best!
