The Cii Hajj Nerve Centre is officially set up and ready for the start of the Hajj broadcast 1433.
This year, Cii has a team of vibrant voices who will update listeners with fresh news from the holy lands.
On air presenters will cross over to the centre every 30 minutes which will be anchored by Cii’s senior news reporters; Azhar Vadi, Qaanitah Hunter and Yusuf Alli.
A team of reporters and researchers, including interns, have also joined the team in order to bring you one of the best coverage and analysis of this year’s Hajj.
The nerve centre will monitor updates in the holy lands via, reporters on the ground, live visuals, social network sites, Ulema-e-kiraam and most importantly from the Dhuyufullah, the guests of Allah .
Link ups will include news from the holy lands, weather, and traffic reports among many other features.
“All praise is for Allah, this is the fourth year that this concept has been implemented,” said Azhar Vadi. “Although there is an abundance of news on the net and elsewhere as is deserving of this momentous annual pilgrimage, Cii has team that will make you feel as if you are actually at the Hajj despite being thousands of kilometers away.”
