A protest that blocked ‘Apartheid Road 443′ in the Occupied West Bank on Tuesday morning has ended after it was met with extreme aggression from the Israeli army.
More than 70 Palestinians accompanied by international activists blocked the road in protest against the Apartheid system perpetrated by Israel.
The road is in the occupied West Bank but is specifically for Israeli use.
One Palestinian was arrested and there were no reports of serious injuries.
International activist Scott Campbell told Cii News from the protest that soldiers used tear gas, sound grenades and threatened to use live ammunition.
The sounds of bombs were heard as he tried to explain what the situation was like as is evident in the podcast above.
