Date Cake

1 cup chopped pitted dates

125g butter

1 egg

1/4 cup of coconut

1/4 cup nuts

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup boiling water

1/2 cup caster sugar

2/3 cup SELF RAISING flour

Method

Combine dates in boiling water for 10min Cream butter, sugar and add egg Add flour, coconut and dates Bake at 180 degrees till done
