Life was too much. She could not bear her burden. She wanted an escape. Suicide was her option.

A Muslimah was on the verge of suicide on Tuesday when the Will of Allah took its course in what seems to be a timely coincidence.

The distraught listener told Cii presenter, Ebrahim Gangat, that she was about to commit suicide and by ‘default’ she happened to tune into Cii where a lecture of Sheikh Mirza Yawar Baig was aired. “Yawar Baig was doing the topic of Ibaadur Rahman (The servants of Allah), and  in this was all the answers to the sister needed,” Gangat said.

The sister was incredibly emotional and in tears told him that it was as if she asked him and he answered her problems and concerns.

The woman thanked Cii and Sheikh Yawar for being the means of saving her life. “All the questions she had were answered through Allah Ta’ala’s great mercy” Gangat said.

She pledged to now follow the steps advised by Sheikh Yawaar to restore her life.

In response to news of the incident, the Sheikh praised Allah, saying that it was the work of Allah the Almighty.

“It is He who gives Life and causes Death: and when He decides upon an
affair, He says to it, ‘Be’ – and it is.” (Qur’an Ghafir 40:68)
